THAT IS BECAUSE, all DVD are in 480p format!! For High definition movies..u HAVE to watch it at 720p or 1080p

BLU-RAY DISC are FULL HD (1080p). So if u have a FULL HD TV, you are not making full use of it watching DVD only!!!.

SO...WHY pay $60-70bnd for a original blu-ray disc??
